Mardi Gras Mask |

Cut out the two part mask from construction
paper

Glue the mask part to the crown part

Cut out the eyes to fit
-
Decorate with paint, markers, crayons,
sequins, glitter, or feathers

Staple, tape or glue an elastic strip that
fits around the head to both sides of the mask

Mardi Gras Cup Shakers |

These cup shakers
are the best thing for a mardi
gras cup parade. |

|
|
Materials
required :- |
|
|
- 2 polystyrene cups
- Green and purple paint
- Dried beans or rice
- Gold star stickers
- Sticky tape
|
|
|
|
Instructions :- |
|
|
- First paint the two cups
in 2 different colors. Paint
one as purple andother as
green.
- Once done, let it dry
and then decorate it with
stickers
- Fill one cup about 1/3
full of rice or bean. Turn
the other cup upside down
and tape securely together.
- Now shake it and enjoy

Mardi Gras Necklace |

Materials
required :- |
|
|
- An assortment of pasta
shapes, with holes, which
can be "strung" like beads.
- Purple and green poster
or acrylic paints
- Gold acrylic or spray
paint.
- Shoelaces, yarn or
string.

|
Instructions :- |
|
|
- First sort the pasta
into three roughly equal
groups and paint each group
with one of the traditional
Mardi Gras colors. i.e green
golden and purple.
- When the pasta is dry
you can assemble your
necklaces. Tape one end of
your string to the table to
make it easier.
- Now weave these pasta
beads in a string in any
pattern you like.
- Your necklace is ready
