poster-board, glue, scissors, self-adhesive magnetic
strips. (level 1) |

fake fur.2. Cut two 3" pieces
of magnetic strip. Attach the sticky side of one of the
strips to the poster-board side of your circle. Attach an
identical strip to your pumpkin - slightly higher than the
middle of your pumpkin.
3. Cut a 3" piece of
red string for your spider's mouth, and 1" triangle
fangs from white paper or cloth.
4. Glue eyes, red string
& fangs to the fury side of your spider's head.
5.
"Magnetically" attach the spider's head to the
pumpkin.
6. Have an adult help you
cut a red pompom in half. Glue half a pompom to your
spider's belly, for a "poisonous" effect.
7. Twist together 2 black
pipe cleaners, eight times. These will be your spider's
eight legs. Bend each joined set in the middle to form an
arch and give the appearance of a jointed leg.
8. Get an adult to help
you poke 4 holes, 1 *" apart in a straight line
through the horizontal midsection of the pumpkin. This
must be repeated on both sides of your pumpkin.
9. Insert one end of the
pipe cleaner legs into each of the eight holes.
10. Adjust your spider's
legs to desired poses.
