Daniela Pestova was born on October 14, 1970 in Teplice, Czechoslavakia . She was born in an upper class family. Daniela is a stunning international super model, at 5’11 with blonde hair and blue eyes. Modelling was not int he agenda of Daniela as such. She had plans to attend the college and then get a degree in education. However her career took a different path altogether when she was 'discovered' by Dominique Caffin of the Madison modeling agency while in Prague. He convinced Daniela to enter a local modeling competition, and she ended up winning.

Caffin then took her to Paris to sign with the Madison agency. In 1990, Daniela began making her mark by appearing in Guess? ads alongside Claudia Schiffer, and as is quite evident, just about every Guess? model eventually turns into a bigtime model.

Three years after being discovered, Daniela decided to move to New York - even though she didn't speak a word of English. Nevertheless, her career took off and she began appearing on the covers of such reputable magazines as Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Elle. She landed a major contract with the cosmetics company L'Oreal, and become their spokesperson and print model. Daniela also entered into a contract to appear in the famous Victoria's Secret catalogue.As well, Daniela started modeling sexy lingerie for Victoria's Secret, as did her colleagues Stephanie Seymour, Tyra Banks and Yasmeen Ghauri. And in 1995 and 1998, Daniela graced the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue.

Daniela has made many huge accomplishments, and two of the most important, she says, were marrying her husband, Tomasso Buti, and giving birth to their son, Yannick Fausto. Buti, conveniently enough, was the former CEO of the flailing Fashion Café. Buti resigned from his management role at the model-fronted eatery amid allegations that he squandered funds. Unfortunately, Daniela called it quits with Buti in 1998 and the two got divorced soon afterwards.

Daniela feels the most professional achievement that she is proud of is her appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue in 1995. Daniela says that after her modeling career she plans to settle into family life and have more children, and maybe become a translator. She currently lives in the Hamptons and also has a house in Miami. Daniela has her own annual swimsuit calendar. She is sure to reach new heights of success with her charm and enduring beauty in near future.
