| To be in the fashion industry and become a name to reckon with was never in the dreams of Brooke Burke. She was definitely born with a charm and exotic looks due to the family's heritage, which blends her French/Irish father with her Portuguese/Irish mother but she wanted to be a a drummer in a rock band. However modelling came to her life as a matter of chance. She went with a high school friend to a modeling agency in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was discovered by a talent scout who happened to be there. She pursued modeling near her hometown and went on to win an acting scholarship....
