Very few people has an as early start for their career as Yasmine Bleeth. She was destined to become a star. It was as early as 6 months when she appeared on the
television. she was featured as
the Johnson & Johnson Baby. At age six, she appeared in a Max Factor campaign,
along with Christina Ferrara. Her work in this campaign caught the eye of
fashion photographer, Francesco Scavullo, who subsequently included her in his
self-entitled book ''Scavullo's Women.'' At the age of 12, Yasmine was cast opposite Buddy Hackettin the feature film Hey Babe.
At the age of 16 she won the role of Ryan Fenelli and the hearts of millions on the ABC Soap Opera ''Ryan's Hope.'' In 1991, staying in
the ABC family, she created the role as the sultry, misunderstood Lee Anne Demerest onthe highly acclaimed Soap Opera, ''One Life To Live.''
Her feature films include sci-fi thriller, The Force, (Image Productions) directed by Pierre David, whose
directorial credits include the successful Internal Affairs. The Force casts Yasmine opposite Jason Gedrick. In her next role Yasmine appears in Ghosts May Kiss (Cafe Productions) with Flea, bassist for the alternative rock band The RedHot Chili Peppers. This romantic fairy tale examines the tragedy of lost love. Bleeth plays ''Lavinia'', lover of
the ghost Casanova, who is stuck in a child's pop-up book from the seventeenth century. Ghosts May Kiss is the resultof a collaboration between 1993 Venice Film Festival winner, director Mauro Borrelli and producer Jeff Kirshbaum.
Yasmine completed a full-motion live action entertainment CD-ROM titled Maximum Surge (Digital Pictures) directed by award winning special effects wizard, William Mesa (Oscar nominated for the box office blockbuster, The Fugitive.) Bleeth plays Jo, an ace computer engineer who
irresponsible for providing game players with the guidance and technical know-how to help defeat the evil
dictator, Drexel. Maximum Surge is released for PC, Mac and Sega Saturn.
During her hiatus from ''Baywatch'', she completed a starring role in the feature film, ''Heaven or Vegas'' for
Cineville Pictures, and played in the TV movies ''Talk to Me'' and ''A Face to Die For.''
After three years of Baywatch Yasmine decided to do more ''serious'' work and she has found the entry to the
film business. She performed in two more TV movies ''Crowned and Dangerous'' and ''The Lake'' and she will be seen in the upcoming big screen movies ''It Came from the Sky'' and ''Basketball''.
Yasmine made her stage debut in the off-Broadway production of the one act plays ''Welcome To My Life'', and ''Looking For It.''
As of now, Yasmine is married to Paul Cerrito. Her other celebrity dates include Luke Perry, Matthew Perry, Grant Show, Ricky Paul Goldin and Richard Grieco. |
